About

Action research

Action research is research carried out with the people a problem affects, not on them. It runs in cycles of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. Its results are changes in practice as well as findings.

This collection

Each project here was developed with a partner organisation and put into use: NGOs, government departments, humanitarian networks and community groups. Most are open to adapt. Each page names the team responsible and the partners involved.

A separate section collects work from Open Lab and Newcastle University. Those projects are shown as reference points for collaborators and are credited to their own teams.
